A situational leadership approach, which modifies leadership according to the unique setting and obstacles, might have strengthened him against changing conditions. Tywin had fewer alternatives to strategy because he adhered to tradition and resistance to change. An adaptable leader is more suited to handle Westeros’ unpredictability and react wisely to new possibilities and challenges.

In addition, Tywin would have profited from encouraging open comments and discussion among his inner circle.
