GovWorks.com, the main character, which is a startup with the newest technologies in this production, correctly focused on the market segment that was the fastest growing, namely building governmental online platforms for facilitating bureaucratic procedures. However, the company was equally astute in seeing market openings for innovation and the potential to bring disruption into the market. Nevertheless, favorable strategic forecasts were still overwhelmed by powerful challenges to GovWorks.com when trying to put its actions in motion. A variety of problems occurred in the provision of resources and in the aspect of management of investor expectations, and all this highlights the fact that the transformation of a strategic vision into a clear outcome is a challenging undertaking (Witt, 2019).
