Last but not least, the movie is different from the others because it helps the spectator perceive the complexities of the Al-Andalus conflict.

The lack of focus on such details erodes the richness of the tale, thus making the spectator miss profound insights into the staggering multifaceted nature of mid-Renaissance Spain (Alam, 2019). The film focused on specific moments of deep analysis of this significant historical period. However, it also failed to provide a broader outlook of the long-term consequences on the cultural and political development of the nation. Even though the film lacks some aspects, it can still make a precious addition to the historical record set unless it shows some better development of post-Reconquista reality.

Through the film’s attention to the little-known history of the period it draws on, the picture of that particular part of Europe’s rich history will be more complete (Alam, 2019). It is, therefore, one of the cherished pieces in the mosaic of knowledge, highlighting the significance of recognizing the Islamic peoples’ historical impact on the continent’s variously diverse heritage. Alongside all the flaws, the movie can undoubtedly bring home the reality in the context of cultural and historical pageants of Al-Andalus to the viewers.
