Critical elements for a team to succeed include team leadership, task independence, trust, cohesiveness, communication, commitment, coordination, cooperation, team performance, team satisfaction, and team effectiveness. The following is the conceptual model for effective communication in project teams. Four factors, in particular, stand out as essential for success in the conceptual communication model: team leadership, trust, team communication, team coordination, and cooperation.

Team leadership: Effective team leadership is essential to achieving the team’s goals, vision, and purpose (Sohmen, n.d.). Team members must have clear responsibilities and tasks, a compelling vision, and the tools they need to do their jobs. Leaders must set goals, communicate properly, and excite and motivate team members (Perignat et al., 2022).
