In program planning, human service professionals need to contemplate their customers’ traditional ethics principles, tenets, and practices. Declining to do so will lead to inadequate programs for some groups, leaving them out. To deal with this, professionals need to participate in constant learning about different traditions, check with ethnic specialists, and confirm that program resources, actions, and communication techniques are traditionally delicate and comprehensive.
