Introduction
The American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) establishes the goals for doctoral-level nursing education. Those goals are reflected in the objectives for the Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Practicum. To this end, the DNP Practicum and the AACN have outlined goals to prepare advanced practice nurses to improve the overall health of communities by providing high-quality, patient-centered care supported by the most current and relevant scientific evidence.
DNP Practicum Goals
