They frequently collaborate with civic authorities and social and commercial organizations to educate the general public about public health issues. A master’s degree is required for this profession, but there is no requirement for licensure. The Certification Board of Infection Control and Epidemiology, on the other hand, offers certification to those who meet the requirements. A doctorate in epidemiology is essential if the epidemiologist intends to teach or head research teams. Again, according to Leslie et al., (2021), Physician assistants, or PAs, are medical professionals who evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients under the supervision of physicians and surgeons. To practice, they must be nationally certified by the governmental organizations and meet the standards of the state licensing laws in which they are authorized to practice.

Oncologists, dentists, dermatologists, family physicians, public health, and general preventive medicine specialists are just a few specialized occupations that medical practitioners can choose from (Leslie et al., 2021). Doctors in public health and general preventive medicine work to improve the health of their patients, prevent disease and manage specific groups and communities. These physicians must be knowledgeable and skilled in administering preventative medicines at the primary, intermediate, and tertiary levels of care (Leslie et al., 2021). To be considered for this position, you must have a current license to practice medicine in the state or territory where you work, a degree from an accredited medical school in the United States or other knowledge medical institutions.

Recommendation for conflict resolution

In a quarrel between physicians and their supporting medical personnel or family, administrators are accountable for finding a solution. The first step is to seek to resolve any problems between the parties and guarantee that the code of ethics is respected (Whitehorn, 2020). Conflicts between departments occur frequently; as a result, the administration should make every effort to break down barriers and urge both parties to operate as a team. If this does not work, the administrator must launch a resolution process on their behalf. In many cases, evidence of the conflict or complaint is required, which is then examined by the ethics committee before being subjected to further examination (Whitehorn, 2020). The administration’s purpose is to provide corrective action and coaching; however, this can sometimes result in the termination of a specific employee.

The foundation for providing high-quality patient care is built on the entire crew’s efforts. Administrators must establish and maintain a conflict-free climate conducive to employee choice in the workplace (Whitehorn, 2020). They must be aware of their employee’s and patients’ five points of view. Annual employee surveys contribute to promoting an open conversation between the administration and the workforce (Whitehorn, 2020). Many large medical centers also offer a phone or email hotline where workers can report unethical disputes or incidents.

Finally, health organizations should be designed t provide the quality medical care to patients. A patient survey and medical records provide insight into the day-to-day interactions that occur between patients and staff and amongst staff members themselves in any medical organization. Proclaiming the importance of having a great work environment with an engaged staff helps create a healing atmosphere for patients and their families. Every healthcare professional’s goal is to offer their patients the healthiest, safest, and most comfortable environment possible.
