For the organization to achieve the general health and well-being of all patients visiting the facility, there is a dire need to adopt a holistic strategy that involves planning, analyzing, coordinating and enabling sufficient allocation of resources.

A thorough assessment of client needs is essential in any healthcare organization. Therefore, a critical part of my job is conducting a comprehensive assessment of patients’ needs, especially mental health needs, their family backgrounds, and genetic factors that could have triggered their current status (Morganstein & Ursano, 2020). I am actively involved in carefully assessing each patient’s health and root causes to come up with tailored treatment methods to meet their individual needs. Understanding the above is crucial in coming up with effective healthcare plans to provide fundamental guidelines for patients to follow strictly.

Working with professionals from other departments, especially those who have knowledge related to healthcare issues, is very important. For instance, holding consultative meetings with professionals from other departments and fields, such as social workers, psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health experts, helps come up with actionable ideas. Being able to exchange ideas is crucial for me to provide outstanding services and helps me carry out my duties effectively (Fagan et al., 2019). I can come up with a comprehensive patient care plan by leveraging the knowledge of different specialists, fostering an open communication platform, and sharing assessment results. Collaborative efforts are essential to guaranteeing patients top-quality and thorough medical care.

Harmonizing various services for patients to ensure they easily access quality healthcare services is a critical part of my duties and responsibilities in the organization. For example, I organize important meetings with healthcare providers, connect patients to community resources, and ensure they receive necessary prescription medications and treatments. Being the main contact person, I ensure a well-streamlined platform where clients easily access healthcare services, reducing delays and improving the effectiveness of interventions.

Advocacy is an important part of my duties and responsibilities. Hence, I strongly support patients’ needs and rights in various areas ranging from healthcare institutions to educational institutions, among others. I am passionate when it comes to supporting my patients’ interests to help them live fulfilling lives despite their mental health issues. For instance, I handle negotiations for workplace accommodations, ensure access to supportive housing, and push for suitable treatment options.

I am always eager to offer vocational training possibilities, financial aid programs, and community support groups to make it easier for patients to access quality healthcare services and improve their overall health (Ezell et al., 2023). Based on my previous experiences, connecting my patients to these services improves their quality of life and increases their chances of long-term recovery.
