By encouraging a solid foundation in reading and writing, it is possible to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary to access and interact with various texts in various subject areas, creating a love of learning and a better awareness of the world around them.

I will advocate for using cooperative learning techniques and group projects as a central facet of promoting positive social interaction. Through peer interaction and various viewpoints, these activities will improve students’ social skills and deepen their comprehension of the material, fostering a positive and interesting learning environment.

I will focus on ensuring that a library is well-stocked with various books suitable for all ages as part of fighting for access to a wide range of reading materials. Additionally, encouraging student-centered classroom libraries that reflect their interests and reading levels empowers them to select works that speak to them personally, promotes independent reading, and encourages them to read independently.

Access to Technology

In advocating for technological access, I will pursue ensuring classrooms receive the necessary equipment and resources as part of promoting technology integration. For all students to have fair access to electronic resources, it is crucial to close the digital gap (OECD, 2017). As a result, students are more equipped to succeed in the 21st-century learning environment and develop their digital literacy skills.
