Her delivery was two months away, and she needed to be diagnosed with gestational diabetes. The new nurse needed further help as a new professional in practice with obtaining credible information regarding diagnosis and care intervention for gestational diabetes. The new nurse requires evidence-based practices and how to obtain credible sources. Incorporating evidence-based practice with correct information in order to help caregivers learn more about the condition and administer treatment will lead to better performance and outcomes. She has therefore learned how to obtain credible, evidence-based information.

Communication Strategies to Encourage Diagnosis-Based

In nursing education and training, good communication is essential because it serves as the basis for imparting the information that is needed. Effective communication is also important in the workplace. The ability to communicate effectively is something that may be acquired through time. To be a successful primary care nurse, it is important to connect with patients interactively. Notably, registered nurses assigned to a specific practice area need to engage in open interaction and communication with their supervisors. Communicating effectively is crucial for enhancing patient safety, minimizing healthcare expenses, and promoting collaboration (Tan, Zhou, & Kelly, 2017). It is also well-regarded for its effectiveness as a leadership strategy. In order to stimulate the collection of information based on diagnosis, the implementation of Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) that has been produced and affirmed in studies is significant in changing practices to quality standards. Outstanding communication will support new nurses in feeling more empowered in their commitment to completing their education through the use of reliable information and resources.

The CRAAP underscores information by helping nurses assess the Currency, Relevance, Authority, Accuracy, and Purpose of the study material (Esparrago-Kalidas, 2021).

Identification of Five Sources for Evidence of Clinical Diagnosis

Sources of evidence need to be evaluated to ascertain if their information can be relied upon in health care to big about positive change. There are various reliable sources of information contained incredible databases. In line with the CRAAP testing technique, nurses will need to utilize these sources as a source of inspiration for my future research investigations. The most profitable sources of information are given precedence over the least profitable sources of information. For the concerns regarding gestational diabetes, some databases will provide reliable information from peer-reviewed documentation that will elucidate advanced care and treatment options for such patients. PubMed was more important and the leading source of credible information on gestational diabetes, followed by CINAHL, EBSCOhost, the American College of Physicians Journal Club, and Internet Grateful Med. Among the themes covered by these educative insights are theoretical models, interdisciplinary cooperation, and nursing interventions. Because these sources are scientific websites or databases that include articles from peer-reviewed publications, these sources are considered to be reliable.

Explanation of Why the Sources Provide the Best Evidence

In providing trustworthy evidence for the intervention being examined to prevent the development of gestational diabetes, it is necessary to get sufficient authoritative sources to do this. When a new patient with gestational diabetes is assigned to a new nurse, the nurse is responsible for evaluating the quality of care that the patient receives during her illness. Because of the database’s trustworthiness and the fact that the material is appropriately organized, with reputable sources linked. When evaluating the overall findings and interpretation of the study, it is important for the researcher to determine whether or not the study results and interpretation are trustworthy or unreliable (Nowell et al., 2017). Doing fact-based research also requires extensive material must be obtained. Most of the material included in these articles and journals has been gained via research and expert analysis of the raw data collected during their studies.
