Physical Development

Physical development involves structural, functional, and capacity changes in the body. It encompasses motor skills, coordination, and general physical fitness (Cranach, 2020). Example with Jesus and Children: In a work of art a toddler would be playing around with activities that represent motor function and coordination. This may imply that Jesus provides for the physical needs of children.

Cognitive Development

Cognitive development is concerned with psychological processes such as thinking, learning, problem-solving, and knowledge. It is a process of learning new knowledge and abilities. Example with Jesus and Children: The art may show Jesus speaking or even teaching children, and this may reflect the maturing thoughts in young minds. This could imply the significant perception placed on children’s intellectual growth, quest for knowledge and earning illumination and wisdom. This image can refer to the time Jesus is a teacher and leader of their intellectual evolution or graduation.

Emotional Development
