Technology Acceptance Model (TAM)

Introduction

The article explains how technology in modern society is driving the digital age. We will discuss how digital technology is changing companies in a method that cannot be reversed. For instance, digitization is recognized as shaping the organizations and the current environment and securing innovative challenges faced by the executives (Granić & Marangunić, 2019). Leadership in the digital arena is important since it has the power to inspire, engage and lead the rest with clarity and optimism, is discussed in the article. It also captures the effects of TAM on the education sector as it eases the functionalities and its usefulness in the setting sections. With the application of TAM in educational settings, the number of students is expected to rise due to the perceived necessity of usefulness in the settings.

The Technology Acceptance Model measures the overview that assesses the reasoning processes that impact whether a person will acclimate to technology. TAM is a tool for managing knowledge in business that can be even in the education sector. Among the factors influencing technology is attitude (Rahimi et al., 2018). It determines if an individual would be permitted to use technology or not. For normal people, they are identified that they have inner and outside variables that impact attitude and observation and hence determine how they observe technology. The perceived worth will regulate if one uses the technology. The affluence of use is another issue that suggestively leads to technology adoption.

Impact of TAM on education settings

It is known to be robust, easy to use and applicable anywhere. The students’ aim and purpose of using technology in their study have been rising by perceiving the ease of use and alleged helpfulness. Integrating the technology acceptance model with the program and preparation of the organization has had a great outcome (Rahimi et al., 2018). Such robust results are like the system’s quality, the computer’s effectiveness and friskiness impacting and easing its use. With TAM, the structural requirements and cost matters are abandoned in this method due to the importance of adopting technology. To worsen it, it is recognized as lazy due to diverted scientists from the actual study. Lastly, the ICT products should be usable and valuable for ensuring that they are implemented in the education setting. Also, attitude and perception are important. It is interesting at the leadership category because major decisions and distribution of resources are started. Leadership style that sectors is important in finding the rate of perception and provision services and the level of approval in the education setting.

The overview of the case study presented

From the overview presented in the case study and its findings, an attitude is responsible for impacting behavioral intentions. Originators of information technology must come up with behavioral intentions. Articles on guidance dealing with information technology and those of ICT in education have been rising normally. We have seen the conduction of ICT adoption in most of the schools’ systems held only on those topping but for the peer group have been provided and supported with developing world (Chan & Hume, 2019). The assessment of determinants in education and study in Mauritius institutions results in those demographic variables, such as the range for qualifications is the determinant. On the use of Technology Assessment Model, we saw it focusing on the sensitive duties that teachers must participate and their knowledge determinants that affects adoption of ICT and assisting in promoting ordinary uptake. It experienced literacy on ICT of educators and the schooling environment. Teachers’ readiness to study ICT was premeditated, critical issues that impacted technology acceptance into education training, and the association between elements and ICT implementation.

Pedagogical content knowledge

From the study, we realize that the teachers’ pedagogical content knowledge influences and alleged the simple use and perceived helpfulness hence displaying definite development from either continuous usage and attitude towards use and later giving constructive impact on the implementation of learning technology. The study from Lewis’s showed that the printed study arguing that serviceability was not only an umbrella idea but also a divergence between the practical extents and usability (Sunny et al., 2019). He further claimed that scientists require to unbundle the usableness idea and change them with those concepts that are defined clearly. Another conducted by Jim says that the users of 512 IBM changed the apparatus and did not measure the expectations hence it measures the experience. From this study, there was both agree and disagree options mainly for individual selection.

Conclusions

The study showed that the technology acceptance model has emerged as one of the influential models that is used for predicting the user’s acceptability. Some researchers resolved that the TAM is appropriate in defining and evaluating users’ behavior (Khasawneh, 2022). Concerning technology application with respect to time, the rest have complained that the TAM is too restricted in the areas of hypothetical conventions and practical efficiency. The review also states that in some circumstances, only one of the issues, either perceived utility or perceived affluence of use inspires behavioral aim of using a technology.
