By promoting inclusivity and removing barriers for people with disabilities, this social company disseminates crucial information regarding accessibility in locations worldwide. Distinguished honors like the Governor General Innovation Prize and the WXN Top 100 Most Powerful Women have been given to Maayan in recognition of her inspirational leadership (Botting, 2021).
However, Michael Acko’s career as an Indigenous businessman and CEO of Scott Hydro-Vac and EnviroBore Directional Drilling illustrates his dedication to having a positive impact on the community. Michael’s commercial endeavors and contributions to the energy industry, which he proudly represents on behalf of the Doig River First Nation, highlight the value of having Indigenous people represented in the business world(Tobias, 2000).
