I visited the Bakersfield Entertainment attraction with my cousins Jennifer and Amber. Bakersfield is an entertainment destination in California that is a central hub for entertainment, shopping, vacations, and holiday trips. We booked tickets for the seasonal Bakersfield sound, which has various music venues and entertainment listings. The Bakersfield sound entertainment event was held in California on the 16th of July, 2022
Many beautiful experiences characterized the Bakersfield Entertainment trip. From the bright and colorful lights to the be4autiful ambiance mainly made by young adults and music lovers. The experience was also characterized by the music of different genres played by the best DJs in California. Fast rhythms and slow melodic tempos characterized the music set. The music played was rich in Western and traditional culture bringing a high sense of patriotism to the event. Some popular music played includes pieces such as music described as a sub-genre of western country music.
This music was seen and characterized as a mix of instruments such as guitars, fiddles, drums, and metallic guitars. The primary and final performances of the night were music pieces made by the founders of the Bakersfield Sound, founding members Buck Owens and Merle Haggard. After a long and dedicated musical career as local musicians in Bakersfield, these artists gained international recognition for their country performances, with some of their most popular hits being ‘The Streets of Bakersfield,’ ‘The Fighting Side of Me’ and ‘I’ve Got a Tiger By the Tail.’
The music performance gave me an experience of fun and deep American culture since people of different races, religions, and social classes were present. They were together to experience and enjoy the Bakersfield Sound. The event was also full of artistic sculptures decorated the main stage and lounge area. This event relates to a book that has been an activity that demonstrated different art forms and how the art is made to bring rich origins and cultures.
The Bakersfield destination was a wonderful experience, mainly because the place is an infusion of many things in one. For instance, the area boasts an art and gallery museum, a venue for concerts and music performances such as dance, a restaurant, an accommodation area for its visitors, and a musical hub with the pure history of the Bakersfield Sound and the career of Buck Owens. The founder Owens was a frequent performer who performed at the event until he died in 2006. The museum is rich in musical artifacts and the history that Buck Owens achieved. Some artistic and musical artifacts include Owen’s red, white and blue guitar. One notable achievement of Bakersfield is its continuous recognition by the Academy of Country Music through nomination for the award ‘Nightclub of the Year.’
I want to share that my experience was beyond my expectation of what I would expect when I got there. My experience there was profoundly fulfilling. Through the activity, I could socialize and meet people of different cultures and beliefs while learning about the history of Bakersfield as I enjoy the sweet country music. This class activity has enabled me to explore and experience diverse cultures through music and art.
