Methodology Introduction
The research focus is the development of an opportunity to end the screening barrier for medical professionals, which cannot haul the population of the U.S. military for loneliness screening. A research paper called “General/Va Veterans Affairs (VA) of North Florida/South Georgia” is presented to pay attention to the Field of Studies and the reason that resulted in the article by Straus et al., 2021. In that regard, a questionnaire will be used to gather LIPs (Licensed Independent Practitioners embedded in ISN 8) (United States, 2018). The researchers are going to use this methodology in order to tear down the lid that hides the factors that widen the gap of implementation of screening for loneliness among veterans living in a region of interest, to which the services offered by mental health organizations can then be heightened and revamped.
Setting
This research is being done at the North Florida and South Georgia Department of Veterans Affairs, under the coverage of the medical facilities worn by veterans from that particular region (Ambron & Coslett, 2023). This problem of facilities that offer health services is an enormous concern, and such facilities on a large scale can support a high percentage of veterans who need mental health services. The chosen location site for the study will help bring to light the particular subjects that the veterans in North Florida and South Georgia are removed and undergo much torture, which includes the education and also the mental health status associated with being lonely.
Sample/Population
Our research initiatives focus on East veterans, caregivers, volunteers, and behavioral health professionals within our VISN 7, 8, and 10 systems. Health providers are a team of professionals that includes a variety of professionals: BScN, MSNs, PAs, psychiatric nurses, psychologists, and social workers, to name a few. The authors of this work aim not only to demonstrate all the professional duties in the process of loneliness-screening of veterans but also to capture the general image of the burden borne by these servicemen. It is also on the agenda to determine the exact proportion of VISN 8 to know the different departments and posts. This technique enables nursing students to have a better understanding of the difficulties and barriers that government-provided healthcare professionals face in various job roles within the regional system of the VA. A more meaningful study can be reached mythically by mixing the views of other LIPs from different angles and experiences of the veterans’ health care centre. Therefore, it will be a source of valuable and vital opportunities to develop the appropriate screenings and assistance for our veterans’ mental health and loneliness issues, VA Health System 8.
Data Analysis
The data for this study shall be collected by descriptive statistics, i.e., mean, percentages, and frequency, with inferential statistics used to make inferences and findings. Then, I will use descriptive statistics to gather data about a particular respondent, such as profession, experience, and other similarities. It will uncover the users’ interests in the described platforms during the established periods. The statistics will be descriptive in that to know the problems reported among the veterans under loneliness screening by veterans and Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs), the incidence and the extension are the main barriers reported. , demographic factors (e.g., patient traits, years worked) will be added so that the role of screening can be thoroughly understood. For example, analytical methods such as the chi-square test or logistic regression are commonly used to show whether the relationships are statistically significant or whether some look because an observation has clustering (Straus et al., 2022). Provided that they are substantial, these findings can bring light to the motivations of professionals in VISN 8 toward breast cancer screening.
Email Address Collection
However, acquiring email addresses for the Licensed Independent Practitioners (LIPs) would involve processing the VA information or directories through computerized technologies, ensuring the information’s correctness and completeness. After this, a voice survey email stressing the confidentiality and voluntariness of the choice will be sent out to get people’s thoughts. Note the communication that guarantees the investigation of the confidentiality of responses and requests the participants to be sure that the security of those who have emailed us is not traced. In this sense, the study reflects the two principles: openness and protection of confidentiality, as loneliness is not a pleasing injury and thus must be reported in the best way possible. Every VISN 8 U.S. veteran can trust the details regarding the barriers and challenges surrounding screening for loneliness.
Survey Development
The questionnaire will be developed directly from the researchers’ challenges and objectives, adding various types of analysis if necessary to confirm the truthfulness and relevance of the results obtained. Discussion of which procedures are skipped, like a vulnerability screening, and also provided scenarios to improve the practices will be described in the questions. During the planning phase for survey development, exercising pilot surveys will guarantee that the questions will be clear and complete and that the answers will be valid. The planet is an absolute assurance that the study encompasses correctly. LIPs view across VISN 8 because of representative.
Exclusion and Inclusion Criteria
The notification of every LIP legally customized under VSN 8 will be convinced to join the research process that is going on. We will take a step to open this program to all interested individuals. In determining participant selection, factors like age, gender, or race shall not be used to decline people from the group. Professional characteristics, like years of working experience and critical positions in healthcare, help ensure the program eligibility will be considered the same. Through this process, we will ensure that their issue, determined by their daily job, background, and many other factors, will be represented (Kuwert et al., 2014). Hence, the reason is that we join the mission of “Veterans Integrated Service Network 8” to know the secret of why it is becoming “lonely.”
Bias Mitigation
Some coping strategies will be planned to handle the biases, which will be incorporated into the study at all times to ensure that the study’s results are correct and straight to the point. The survey will be constructed to provide anonymity to the respondent participants, automatically allowing them to express their views freely and honestly without bearing any fears. The neutral style will be adopted when raising questions that will not incline the respondent’s cognition. Besides this, large-scale exercises designated to have general content cutting across vast areas of the population and diverse occupations will be focused on the Licensed Independent Practitioners community. The applied techniques should focus on filling the information gaps and ensuring accurate and balanced results based on inherent perception and interpretation biases.
Sample Size Determination
The calculation of the study sample size is powered by statistics analysis. It also considers the number of independently Licensed Practitioners now serving the Veteran Integrated Medical Network (VISN) 8. An acceptable precision is applied to get rid of any errors that might come from the process of the study process; to achieve a desirable degree of statistical accuracy, our analysis is performed on a more significant sample consisting of more cases. Namely, with its help, the relationships between the independent and dependent variables will be more precisely estimated (Pfeiffer, 1998). A study using the most accurate and efficient approaches for the sample size calculation is a solution. It is the most critical parameter that is calculated at the beginning of the study and helps to determine how firm the study conclusions and the number of valuable insights will be into the reason for what makes loneliness screenings among health care workers belonging to the VISN 8 health care system supporting American military vets unattractive to them.
Ethical Considerations
Ethics can be considered in my entire research study. Ions will take place only after gaining approval from both the IRB and VA of the school and the institution. It provides that the investigator holds to the code of ethics in his quest and that subjects’ are accorded dignity and rightful care while the research is being done. Informed consent from human participants will be granted before they/and I will take part in the study, and the confidentiality of their data will be stressed before they decide to participate. Participants will be adequately and fully briefed on the research target, specifically how they can participate voluntarily or opt-out from participation, and will be fed confidence in data security. The main ethical methods that involve not being impartial are removal and honesty.
