US10740758B2: This patent is for an Apple invention relating to a “method and apparatus for controlling a user interface.” The design is a system that allows a user to control the user interface of a device by using multiple inputs such as a touch screen, buttons, and voice commands. The system can recognize the difference between each input and respond accordingly.
4. US8516533B2: This patent is for an Apple invention relating to an “electronic device with a display.” The invention is an electronic device such as an iPhone or iPad with a display on which visual information can be displayed. The device can adjust the display size and orientation depending on the device’s orientation.
5. CA2740594C: This patent is for an Apple invention relating to a “method and apparatus for providing context-sensitive information.” The design is a system that provides context-sensitive information to a user based on their current location and device type. The system can detect the user’s location and provide information related to that location.
6. US20200327458A1: This patent is for an Apple invention relating to an “Internet Protocol-based device control system.” The invention is a system that allows a device to be controlled remotely using the Internet Protocol. The system is able to detect the presence of a device and send commands to it, allowing the device to be controlled remotely.

1. Microsoft’s Windows trademark: Microsoft’s Windows trademark is a registered trademark that is used to identify the company’s operating system software. Microsoft’s Windows trademark is a valuable asset for the company, as it is used to identify the company’s products and services. This trademark provides Microsoft with the exclusive right to use the Windows name in association with its products and services.

Apple’s iPhone trademark is a valuable asset for the company, as it is used to identify the company’s products and services. Observations on Existing IP:

From the existing IP, it is clear that the business industry is heavily invested in utilizing advanced technologies such as cloud computing, machine learning, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and augmented reality (Leadem, 2017). These technologies are being used to provide businesses with improved analytics services, personalized recommendations, customer service agents, and immersive experiences. It is also apparent that many of the major companies in the industry are utilizing their IP to protect their products and services from infringement. For example, Microsoft, Apple, IBM, Amazon, and Google all have registered trademarks and patents that protect their products and services.

It is also apparent that some of the major companies in the industry are utilizing their IP to maintain their competitive advantage. For example, Microsoft and Apple have both invested heavily in their cloud computing and machine learning technology to provide businesses with improved analytics services (Leadem, 2017). IBM has invested heavily in its natural language processing technology to provide businesses with better customer service. Amazon has invested heavily in its artificial intelligence technology to create automated customer service agents. Google has invested heavily in its augmented reality technology to provide customers with more engaging experiences.

From these observations, it is clear that the business industry is heavily invested in utilizing advanced technologies to maintain and improve their competitive advantage. It is also apparent that the major companies in the industry are utilizing their IP to protect their products and services from infringement.

IP Potential:

My company has the potential to utilize its IP to protect its products and services from infringement, as well as to maintain and improve our competitive advantage. For example, we could use patents to protect our products and services, and we could also use trademarks and copyrights to protect our company’s name and logo (Durant, 2021). We could also use our IP to create new products and services that would be protected from infringement. Additionally, we could use our IP to develop advanced technologies that would allow us to provide our customers with improved analytics services, personalized recommendations, customer service agents, and immersive experiences. By utilizing our IP in this way, we could maintain and improve our competitive advantage in the business industry.
