Improvement in Writing Skills

I have been working hard to improve my writing skills during this semester’s course. My efforts have been greatly rewarded according to the level of my writing skills at the beginning of the semester compared to now. My writing skills significantly improved when I explored the areas where I had issues with s at the beginning of the semester. For instance, t the beginning of the semester, the lecture’s comments said that I was supposed to improve my grammar and formatting. In a case where a learner is unable to develop specific basic skills, as these demands go up, they will be able to write with the speed and fluency required (Ariana and Sim Monica 135). As of now, the lecturer’s previous comments from the lecturer said that my writing skills were skills of a high order.

The areas of grammar that I have been working on throughout the semester are now corrected. The is a noticeable change compared to the beginning of the semester. I have also been able to research in the library for different writing skills required for my work to improve, which has significantly improved my writing skills. This paper discusses various ways in which my writing skills have significantly improved and gives a clear comparison of the beginning of the semester and now. The paper also shows the lecturer’s satisfaction with my current writing skills.

At the beginning of the semester, I needed help with my grammar and spelling. My work used to have many grammatical mistakes, making me score poorly on my tests. Grammer is an essential aspect of writing as you can be to generate points, but it comes to the presentation of writing, the points will only be well relayed if there are many grammatical mistakes. Spellings lie in the same category as the almost equal significance in writing. I also used to have severe issues with spelling. There are usually very few noticeable grammatical and spelling mistakes when I write. That tells me that my writing skills have been improving throughout the semester.

At the beginning of the semester, the lecturer gave us an assignment and commented that I had a severe problem plotting my work. The plot of the work could have been better, and the lecturer was very unsatisfied with the plot of my work. I decided to improve my plot, and I have worked hard throughout the semester to improve my skills in the plot. The plot is essential in writing as it ensures the flow of events at the end. For instance, writing a scripted plot takes a character through the steps to a happy or tragic ending according to the script. At the end of the semester, the lecturer gave us an assignment, and after the submission, the lecturer reported that my work had a perfect plot and flow of events.

For the previous semesters, I have been having problems clarifying a story’s conflict clearly. I have been doing samples of writing to improve my ability to explore the concept of a story deeply. As of now, someone can identify the conflict in my writing as they are pointed out. My writing usually brings attention and reveals a deeper meaning of the topic. e has also worked on torn and the style in which a particular paper in relayedisith. For instance, I wrote a paper,r recently about the demise of an African president. The lecturer ascertained the story that’s right torn, and the style gives a vivid picture of the feeling of sorrow that the residents have.

In conclusion, this semester has helped me enough, and I have improved my writing skills, as discussed earlier in the paper. Students felt that rubrics assist them in understanding what is expected as opposed to when the professor does not give a rubric, and they have to do guessing games (Goodwin, Ronnie, and Robert 8). The lecturer has commended my work as at now very perfect, and I can now drive a point clearly through written work. I have also learned new skills that I came across as I was researching how to improve on the parts where I was poor. Now can write a paper with fewer or no spelling and grammar mistakes, with a suitable plot and the correct tone and style.
