Introduction
Many citizens have expressed concerns over the increased dependence that the police have on technology within the city of Chattanooga. Using technologies such as GPS tracking, drones or unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and robotics can assist law enforcement. Still, the use of these technologies has generated issues about their effectiveness and the ethical implications of their usage. This essay aims to answer concerns about privacy and safety while educating citizens of Chattanooga on the benefits of using the technologies mentioned above in tackling insecurity and handling other risky situations.
Technology and Law Enforcement: Some Ethical Considerations
Concerns about the invasion of privacy and security have been raised in reaction to the employment of robotics, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), and GPS tracking by law enforcement within the city of Chattanooga.
