Essay on Business Ethics

Ethical behaviour is the expected level of the behavioural system that an individual should reflect at any given time. In most cases, we experience many interactions involving individuals at any given time. Throughout this socialization process, we are expected to reflect behaviour that reflects honesty, respect, equality, and dignity to show diversity and respect for the rights of the individuals per unit of time. All this sums up the ethical behaviour or the character per given time. Some human values droves individuals, especially in their activities in their daily lives. When it comes to the physical interactions between and among individuals at any given time, there are fundamental values that individuals need to show up, which sums up their level of integrity. Some deals posed by the beings per unit of time include; Loyalty, Honesty, kindness, goodness and spirituality (Werhane, 2020). These are the most common five human values posed by human beings and have a great diversity on the impact of human ethical behaviour. Remember, for beings to reflect the correct ethical character, there are several values that they need to show up. The above-listed ethical behaviours have positively impacted the ethical behaviour of human beings. For example, individual is expected to show a high level of respect, especially when interacting with one another. The basic level of interactions is commonly reflected, especially in business affairs. Respect enhances a good and obedience of the individual’s inclusiveness, which forms the essential and, more so, the foundation of the business. When one practices loyalty alongside integrity, they are, therefore, able to offer a good reflection of the behaviour that is expected. An example of it is workers who are working in any given company; these fundamental values help them to offer a reflection of the behaviour that is expected per unit of time.

In most cases, the listed fundamental values help individuals grow in a positive direction as dictated by ethical behaviours. When one possesses the five values, there is a high probability that he or she will reflect the expected behaviour in the community or business setting. This will help so much with the ethical behaviour expectations of an individual.

Core values are those expressed by human beings per unit of time and drive individuals toward the desired discipline. When one talks of the core value in the business setting, one means that these are the primary routes or the ways that the individuals need to reflect their behaviours per unit of time. Some of the core values that are supposed to be possessed by individuals per unit of time include; respect, responsibility and integrity. As a worker, I possess the above-listed core values. These are ranked as the most common core values that should be posed by the individuals per unit of time and which help the individuals to act ally cope with several challenges in the workplace. For example, I usually face some situations, especially in the workplace setting (Jones, 2021). Some situations require a high level of decision-making to solve them entirely per unit of time. For example, if it is a case to do with the disagreement between and among the workers in the workplace, this action requires a high level of decision-making. This is because I am required to listen to both sides so that I will make collusion based on the fact. Using, for example, a state of respect as the core value will help me respect both opposing teams towards a unidirectional opinion. In this case, I will therefore offer respect to any of the points put across by the opposing team and make the expected decision. Responsibility is also the other core value that will significantly guide my decision-making per unit of time. In this case, I will admit that every action I take in the decision-making process leans on my shoulders. This will make it easy for me to understand that most of the cases I am making decisions in the workplace will have a great reflection. Due to this factor, I will therefore take it very sensitively, especially when making decisions at any given time. Therefore, this idea will help me make the most important and accurate decisions that will guide me to solve all the issues in the workplace.

When one leaves behind the briefs and the core values in the business setting, there are several challenges that one will have to face per unit of time. The act of briefs and core values drives most businesses. For example, as a worker, there are the beliefs that I always hold and which drive me towards working ethics. Also, there are the core values that I am supposed to express in the workplace, making the business successful per unit of time. In most cases, this belief and core values may not be expressed per unit of time. This will have a significant impact, especially when it comes to decision-making. Some core values are involved when it comes to the decision-making process. Some of these core values involved per unit of time include; respect, responsibility and, more so, integrity (Rossouw, 2017). These are the most common core values the individuals express per unit of time. In most cases, the individuals should involve themselves in evaluating the issue that is posed and making a reasonable conclusion.

When there is the idea of eliminating these core values and beliefs, there is a high probability that I will suffer the idea of making decisions per unit of time. This will lead me to a different decision-making process, affecting the workplace. When I make the proper diction at any given time, this will positively impact the business setting. In most cases, there will be a loss of customers visiting the workplace at any given time. In this case, the decision was all about choosing the best quality of the commodities in the workplace. When I have made the wrong decisions because I fail to make good decisions per unit of time, this will significantly affect the business in one way or another. Most of the customers will only find interest in buying a given commodity from my business if I have made the right choice of choosing the correct items (Ruegger, 2016). In most cases, the business suffers the most challenges because most business owners need to involve the correct working ethics per unit of time. It is more critical for individuals to include proper working ethics and uphold moral beliefs and core values.

As a business professional, there are some achievements that I expect to make in the future of my profession. Remember, despite being a business profession, learning is a process that has no end. Therefore, this brings the idea that I must inspire more in the business to add my intelligence to the business profession. For example, as a business professional, I am one of the primary and scientific researchers who will research various business premises. By doing so, I will be able to learn more about the expected business ethical behaviours and, more so, learn more about the expected values found within the business setting.

In most cases, the individuals fail to express the correct ethical behaviours in the workplace. As a business professional, I aspire to be one of the most outstanding researchers in the business sector, working on these issues per unit of time (Sternberg, 2020). I also inspire to be one of the members who teach business persons about various ways to handle most of the challenges they face in the workplace setting. This is because, as a business professional, I have several skills that can be applied by individuals per unit of time and can be used by business persons to solve various issues. In most cases, individuals should have the proper skills to work correctly in business. This can only be done through teaching them.
