How other companies in the e-commerce business are using ERPs, and what recommendations e-commerce companies have implemented, could be used by Amazon to improve their ERP.

Enterprises in the e-commerce business like the Amazon strive to achieve strengths by developing and maintaining a one-of-a-kind procedure for collecting individual customer data and their buying habits. AS amazon was implementing the ERP they used to gather user feedback throughout. This practice assisted Amazon understand how its workers work and connect with others, as well as their everyday challenges. Comments also aided with the deployment of the system, allowing it to address real-world user needs. Final feedback assisted in detecting faults and provided suggestions for future enhancements after the take. One of the few alternatives available to Amazon sellers when it came to explaining themselves what had transpired was to put a remark on a favorable or bad review. Bad publicity now exists without more information, as this feature was disabled.

Versatility is the other half—possibly the more crucial half—of overall ERP performance. Organizations can adjust to constant changes in their institutional and regulatory situation using versatile ERP software. Some of the adjustments would help users better comprehend the ERP system’s core features, so they’ll know what functions they’re utilizing or have access to. As a result, firms are more likely to take advantage of opportunities to automate business operations, improve functionality, and meet more targets. Another thing while deploying the ERP system is that orders should be thoroughly vetted. The organization will realize how limited the system’s capabilities is once it is adopted, and how this will affect its existing best practices. A company should never install new ERP software without thoroughly screening vendors. According to (Meghana, Mathew & Rodrigues 2018) before making a final decision, it is recommended that meet with at least 5 different providers. A cloud-based ERP service provider will make changes and also decision-makers can design ways to fulfill their company’s requirements.
