Introduction/Demographic Data
The Garcia-Martinez family lives in an urban, lively house in the middle of Chicago, Illinois. Both of them, Maria and Juan, have proud Hispanic roots with the richness of the cultural traditions of Mexico. They are Christian Catholics who live their faith through being involved in community events and church activities and praying for strength every day of their life. The couple lives here: Maria, Juan, and his family in the nearby building. They have two kids, Sophia (fourteen) and Miguel (ten). The two are committed to being parents at an early age of 40.
Maria works heartily to support the family as a housekeeper, whereas Juan is a professional construction worker. The two rent an apartment around the city’s residential area, which is nice and comfortable for their family. The paper focuses on comprehensive family assessment towards determining wellness, health needs, probable impending risks, and the likelihood of being suffered by the Garcia-Martinez family. First, having to understand the cultural background and the family dynamics of this family and the living conditions alone, I would like to decide on their needs in health care priority and assess the resources from the perspective of a community nurse available to provide for these needs.

Summary
The members of the Garcia-Martinez family lead very healthy lives that are accompanied by their daily lives. The good health in the family is greatly attributed to regular medical follow-ups, good diets, and constant physical extension. These lifestyles give a good ground for prevention since they help prevent recurring diseases. The family members are involved in the jobs that offer health insurance to them. This is supplemented by access to good medical services, which the family members frequently visit to get medical check-ups. This
However, the family is at risk despite positive health lifestyle practices by many family members. If one or two of them are employed and have a very busy lifestyle, they can make them be faced with numerous health threats. A good example is how Juan, being a head, and Maria, as the wife, are busy working, which might threaten their physical and mental state. In discharging their duties, they may need more timely medical care.
The Garcia-Martinez family has the proximity to and resources from the urban community. The community centers, libraries, as well as grocery stores, coupled with the locale, bring massive inputs to their life. The share of physical closeness of extended family members is an asset, for that matter. However, other added resources for further support lie in decreasing the stress from work and searching for more flexible healthcare arrangements offered by the community.
The community health nurse will act as the link center in helping promote the health of the Garcia-Martinez family members, especially the patient. With individual teaching on the proper way of relieving stress comes the support to help face job stressors and relieve them. By creating partnerships with local health service providers, the nurse becomes an instrument in gaining access to medical services for and on behalf of the family, meeting the ailing person’s or family’s medical needs. This also includes the family being directed toward precautionary health measures. Running itself not only empowers the family but also puts them in charge of their well-being in general.
