Introduction
Cannabis is known for many reasons, the common one being its use as a relaxation drug. Recent research has, however, shown that cannabis can be used in other productive and healthy activities, such as in skin care routines. Although heavily researched and discussed, very few people know about using cannabis to treat various skin issues, including acne and eczema. In this article, I provide critical research on how best CBD in cannabis can be used to treat troubling skin issues. Skin diseases and disorders can be a major problem, and treating them can be a significant battle. The majority of victims often end up sticking to over-the-counter drugs and creams. For people with severe skin conditions, such drugs do not permanently solve their skin problems. This study is, therefore, critical as it includes the potential to reveal a practical and ‘green’ solution for severe skin conditions. Ideally, if CBD in cannabis is favorable for curing skin conditions, it should be a no-brainer to implement it in several struggling patients.
Discussion
The study on cannabis and its impact on users has been developing in recent years with the sudden increase in users. Cannabis is often termed a healthier drug compared to the rest, and it is no surprise that some of its elements, like CBD, can significantly help when dealing with skin conditions. Recent studies indicate that CBD products are on the rise, with almost all beauty and skin care products including up to 0.3% of CBD in each product (2). Certainly, most skincare firms see the benefits of CBD In aiding their clients. BASED ON THE RESEARCH, the CBD trend is certain to remain sustainable in the coming years. CBD is a chemical or element mainly found in plants like marijuana and hemp. Marijuana is a common source of CBD. The plant contains two chemicals, THC and CBD, where THC is the psychoactive cannabinoid (2). CBD, unlike THC, does not make an individual high. CBD portrays the positive parts of marijuana and, according to studies, can help cure various illnesses such as anxiety, insomnia, and other cognitive issues. CBD produces a chemical called sebum that helps heal acne. Additionally, our skin contains a system of cannabinoids that interact perfectly with THC and CBD to help prevent further skin damage. CBD products contain anti-inflammatory properties that are key in treating recurring skin conditions (1).
Skin conditions such as acne and eczema are hard to treat and often persist or come back worse. Reports have also found that many Americans are affected by such conditions yearly without finding a permanent solution. Inflammation, eczema, and psoriasis are also prominent in young people, and over-the-counter treatment often leaves scars, and the condition also keeps recurring (1). Although the research on this product is still minimal, it is showing significant promise. With the stubbornness of various skin conditions, a pure and healthy method is the perfect answer.
Additionally, there is no fear of addiction or experiencing the effects of the drug as only the harmless chemical is used. With the number of victims rising constantly, it is no secret that creams and other treatment methods are starting to prove futile. The introduction of CBD in the beauty and skincare market is therefore critical and a step towards permanent treatment of various skin conditions. Since CBD is extracted from cannabis, its use has various limitations due to fear of addiction or drug abuse. Various regulations and laws allow up to 0.3% of CBD in products. Such policies limit the extent of its effectiveness, and hopefully, future studies can expand its use in treating such conditions. Figure 1 in the exhibits shows how prominent CBD has been in skincare products over the past few years.
Conclusion
In conclusion, CBD is a critical chemical that can help people suffering from adverse skin conditions. Skin conditions are prominent in various areas, and several provided treatment practices rarely work to perfection. CBD allows a healthy and effective method to deal with skin conditions such as eczema. It could help several families recover from recurring issues without spending significant cash. It also saves problems when treating skin conditions with over-the-counter creams and drugs. It being ‘green’ and natural also prevents extensive side effects and negative outcomes. It is accepted that CBD is promising and good for treating various skin conditions.
