This is classically achieved by legislating policies and laws prohibiting companies, individuals, and other parties from taking actions that can endanger social order at the end of the day. Such governing policies and regulations may vary from common issues like averting gender and racial discrimination to safeguarding the right to vote and traffic laws. Other significant governing policies safeguard the public regarding ensuring safety in the workplace, protecting the environment, and abusive financial and business practices.
Distributive Policy: Emphases certifying the reasonable provisions of public-held government goods, services, and benefits to all corporations, groups, and individuals. Taxpayers finance such goods and services incorporate welfare programs, bridges and roads, public safety, and public education. Government benefits supported by taxpayers’ money include tax write-offs and farm subsidies that promote economic development, energy savings, and homeownership in due course.
Redistributive Policy: Emphases one of the most controversial domestic policy features: the justifiable distribution of its wealth. The redistributable policy’s objective is to equitably allocate monies raised from one program or group to another. For instance, over the years, new departments and agencies have been developed to administer programs, address taxes such as Medicare and Social Security, ensure clean water and air, and protect consumers, among others.
