Introduction

Visual cultures are the aspect of one using various visual images. In most traditional work, most individuals use images expressing various visual cultures. Throughout this paper, we will discuss various images drawn by various individuals, especially concerning Jesus Christ, that is considered the image icon, especially in the visual culture.

Religious painting forms one of the main works that are famous and is usually considered to be an image icon, especially in the visual culture. Religious painting, as the statement indicates, the artwork that involves drawing various images that represent Jesus Christ. Based on the creation of the artwork as an icon, in this case, coming up with an image that is painted is the original meaning of the icon. Remember, some activities that religious people, especially Jesus Christ, carried out are painted and drawn as images. This process is one of the ways through which the majority of individuals have been able to come up with the image icon. This is because most individuals wish to know more and see the images that have been created.

In the artwork, religious painting is used as an icon. This, therefore, forms image icons that are used for visual culture. Remember, this icon offers a representation of Jesus Christ. An example of such work is when an individual opts to use various Christian Religion painting which incorporates various images, such as the lamb, which presents Christ, or the Dove, which presents the Holy Spirit.

In most cases, some of the artworks have direct translations based on the message that is passed to the intended audience. As it has been said in the given example, whenever a lamb is used, especially in religious artwork, this passes the information that this represents Jesus Christ (Landow, 2015). Therefore, the lamb image is used as an image icon with great meaning in the visual culture. In most cases, whenever a person comes across this particular image of a lamb, this offers the interpretation that there is a sense of Jesus Christ. This, therefore, becomes a culture which is in the form of an image hence forming the visual culture.

On the other hand, there is usage of the Dove that presents the Holy Spirit. Whenever any given person sees a dove image drawn and painted, one is in a position to understand that this represents Holy Spirit. Therefore this creates an image of culture in the form of religion.

As discussed in the body part, some works are described as being famous at any given time. One of the most common and famous works is the religious painting. This involves coming up with various images that are religious and painting them appropriately to make an icon. Remember, as it has been said, there is the idea of painting various images representing Jesus Christ or presenting various incidences that Jesus Christ carried out. These particular images form the basic culture of the individuals, which is visual, forming the visual culture (Thakur, 2015). One of the examples of this particular artwork that has been described as the creation process of an image icon that forms the visual culture is coming up with an image of a lamb. The Lamb image is therefore considered to be an icon. This is because whenever any given person sees the image of a lamb, this shows Jesus Christ. Therefore this is a religious painting task informed by an image icon for visual culture. Also, we have got an image of a dove as it has been described. This, therefore, forms the part of the Holy Spirit in the Biblical concepts, which also forms the image icon for the visual culture.
