Abstract
This paper aims to develop a strategy to manage some critical issues at Lake View, like inadequate academic performance, high absenteeism, and emerging demographic issues, including a dwindling economy. The SMART goal framework is employed in the plan, which outlines a set of well-defined, specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, and time-bound objectives that would help improve the school’s performance. The plan’s central part entails enhancing school performance based on sound approaches to learning, with teachers being trained in data analysis and developing individually crafted measures. It puts forth strategies for enhancing participation through community engagement and student recognition programs to urge more visits to the school. Dealing with demographic and economic issues involves working with key local players and implementing policies that ensure inclusive education for children from different social contexts. It emphasizes that the stakeholders are involved through the participation of teachers, parents, and other members of the society who form the third layer. This action seeks to develop a safe and healthy environment conducive to academic performance for all learners at the Lakeview Elementary School.

Introduction
On the other hand, Lakeview Elementary School faces problems with learning outcomes, attendance rates, and sociodemographic changes. The following is a proposed course of action that I have identified based on the school’s profile, identified factors contributing to the problems we are facing, and relevant literature on setting goals and action plans.
Setting SMART Goals
Setting SMART goals is the first step in initiating the action plan for Lakeview Elementary School to address the problems established. This plan aims to enhance learners’ academic performance through specially designed programs. Focusing on specific remedies addressing academic weaknesses defines the level of the goal’s specificity (Leal Filho et al.,2020). To measure progress, the plan sets a measurable target: to increase CMT scores by 10 percent in one year after that. The quantitative measurement provides a transparent mark for the evaluation performance of interventional programs. These objectives can be achieved by working with other community organizations and focusing on realism. The school uses external support to help ensure that an effort is collectively undertaken to provide extra academic help (Estrella et al.,2023). The broader purpose is to improve scholar’s achievement and aim for schools’ success at the age of twenty-one. These goals are tied to time; therefore, they add weight to this undertaking in that there must be improvement in the next term (Estrella et al.,2023). The strategic approach on which this effort is based utilizes SMART goals to set up a focused and time-appropriate program that will boost the academic performance of Lakeview Elementary School pupils.
Improving Academic Performance
Multiple strategies are involved in improving the academic performance of Lakeview Elementary School. Second, an approach based on evidence that involves evidence-based decision-making will be used in this study. It entails using information to analyze teaching practice to identify areas of weakness and modify how to impart knowledge. Parallel to this, a program will offer teachers training in data analysis (Estrella et al.,2023). This dual approach allows teachers to analyze and utilize the data results for better instruction. Data will be used to develop relevant intervention programs catering to identified academic problems. The proposed programs will offer extra help to struggling learners. It will ensure better learner-centered provision. Working with community organizations creates additional support that further increases the efficacy of intervention programs (Leal Filho et al.,2020). The institution can access external information, expertise, and possible mentoring channels vital in supporting academic enhancements through forming alliances with community organizations. The data-driven and collaborative way involves a comprehensive technique of improving academic performances to encourage perpetual learning and betterment among teachers and learners.
III. Enhancing Attendance Rates:
A comprehensive strategy for raising Lakeview Elementary School’s attendance rates entails engaging with the community and recognition programs. Secondly, the program addresses community concerns by creating ties with neighborhood civic bodies (Leal Filho et al.,2020). The school tries to work with such organizations as its allies to reinforce the value of attending school daily. At the same time, organizing community-focused programs emphasizing the advantages of continuous attendance will also help create a shared understanding among the people regarding the importance of attending school.
Reward programs will be introduced to motivate students to exhibit positive attendance behavior. These programs shall include students exhibiting good attendance records recognizing their unwavering dedication to their daily school attendance (Lichtman, 2023). Also, awarding whole classes or grades with high attendance improvement promotes positivity regarding school attendance. Such recognitions are geared toward nurturing an enabling environment that inspires students to attend school regularly. This attendance enhancement plan involves community engagement and recognition to create an atmosphere of joint participation in which parents, guardians, and communities will value and promote total student attendance at Lakeview Elementary School.
Addressing Changing Demographics And Economic Challenges:
A holistic and strategic action plan is required as the population dynamics and economic pressures are experienced at Lakeview Elementary School. This aspect of the action plan is also essential in that it entails working together as a team with the community leaders to tackle the problems of the economy jointly (Leal Filho et al.,2020). Therefore, they are constantly upgrading their abilities in data use, planning for teaching, and learning.

This type of ongoing communication between the parent and child assists the former in knowing how his/her child is faring and supporting the latter in training. This action plan concentrates on involving the various stakeholders and ensuring that they participate actively in the networks designed to work on issues of poor academic achievements and attendance in Lakeview Elementary. Therefore, it is an inclusive form that promotes teamwork while every student has a sense of ownership for each other’s success and well-being.
Involvement Strategies.
In order to make stakeholder-involvement strategies work at Lakeview Elementary School, planned action entails frequent meetings, workshops, and community-based forums. Such meetings must occur frequently where learners are offered an opportunity to appraise their performance formally. Periodically, the educators convene, share their ideas and research data, and devise methods to deal with the barriers (Lichtman, 2023). One front for education enhancement requires a consistent communication culture among the faculty, which is the main target of this strategy. Workshops for parents are necessary since they act as a bridge between the school and the family. Such sessions focus on empowering parents on how best they can engage themselves in supporting education for their children. Some of these issues could be how to help with homework or standards to follow while studying at home (Lichtman, 2023). An action plan will be developed by setting up an appropriate environment in Lakeview Elementary with frequent parent meetings, workshops, and community meetings. The holistic approach facilitates the involvement of the teachers, parents, and other community members for good health and academic performance.
VII. Determining Effectiveness
Lakeview Elementary School will evaluate the effectiveness of these actions through measures related to learning, attendance, connection to community, and long-term finances. Ongoing assessments using SPI and CMT scores will measure academic performance metrics. Assessment regularly should make sure that proper changes are made in response to the influence exerted by adopted measures (Brown & Luthe,2021). Comparing SPI and CMT scores is an actual indicator of the level of attainment towards enhancing student academic performance. The system of keeping attendance records to assess the effectiveness of efforts geared toward improving attendance rates will be continual (Brown & Luthe,2021). An essential indicator of the effectiveness of different interventions is a comparison of attendance rates, done periodically before and after the interventions are implemented.
Surveys and participation levels will provide a gauge of community engagement metrics. Success also depends on the degree of involvement of the community in the outreach and engagement activities.” Quantitative information on community engagement in surveys will be provided, while qualitative assessment will come from active participation and feedback. Assessment of how grant applications and fundraising activities affect financial statements will be done using financial reports. Grant money is used in academic programs (Kurilovas, 2020). Therefore, this review seeks to make sure supplementary funds are appropriately directed. The action plan should be financially sustainable to ensure its long-term success.
Conclusion:
This paper describes an action plan that Lakeview Elementary School should employ in handling problems related to the achievement gap with appropriate SMART objectives, community participation, and stakeholders’ assistance (Kurilovas, 2020). The strategy seeks to improve scholastic scores, increase absenteeism, and the overall welfare of the school environment. Determining the effectiveness of the adopted strategies shall involve regular monitoring and assessment.
