The paper is about The Beatles band. The band involves four performers. Namely: Ringo Starr, John Lennon, George Harrison, and Paul McCartney. The four pop stars were just teenagers before they joined to form The Beatles band (Bertram, 2020). The general background of the musicians before they joined is as follows. The group began when Paul and John met at Church fete in Woolton, Liverpool. In 1957, John was 16-years old, and Paul was 15-years old.
Paul was the son former nurse and band member. His first performance was in October, but it did not go well. Since he was frightened during the performance, that is why George came in. George was the son of a shop assistant a bus conductor. George joined the Quarrymen as a guitarist when he was 15-years of age, which was influenced by rockabilly to form the band’s early sound.
Ringo Starr was born in Liverpool, the only child (B., 2021). His father left him early by divorce from his mother. His mother worked as a cleaner. Ringo’s life was full of challenges when he was six years old. He was diagnosed with peritonitis and hospitalized for 12 months and later was found with tuberculosis which took him two years to recover. In 1953, Ringo was lucky for her mother to get remarried as the stepfather encouraged Ringo’s interest in music (B., 2021). The pop star was introduced to skiffle music after failing to try a series of different job opportunities. He performed his first kit in 1957 on Christmas day using drums. He then later formed a band with real instruments. Known as “Star Time.” He then later met the Beatles band in Hamburg. In October 1960, he first played together with the Beatles band. Then in 1962, he officially joined the Beatles band. The pop star replaced Pete Best during the first performance at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, which angered their fans. But Ringo became the beloved member of the group. And that is how the Beatles band was formed and became famous.
There are roles that every performer has in the group. To start with, Ringo Starr acted as a professional drummer. That is why Ringo replaced Pete Best. His performance as a drummer in the band was terrific. He was also a professional singer in the group. The pop start helped to increase the fame of the band.
John Lennon was famous in the band due to several roles he performed. Firstly, he was a professional and a talented songwriter in the Beatles band. The star was the leader of the group. He performed other roles in the group, such as solo recording artist, collaborator with Yolo Ono matters related to recordings, and graphic designer.
Paul McCartney played different crucial roles in the Beatles band. He was a bass guitarist, acoustic guitarist, electric guitarist. He was also a talented pianist. In addition, he could handle more than 40 musical instruments. He is also well known for composing more popular hits than any other group member.
George Harrison is also one of the critical members of the Beatles band. However, his roles in the group were few. Since his parts were on only to work as a leader in the guitarist and contributed a lot write many memorable songs in their track.
In summary, John, Paul, and George played the role of vocals, bass, percussion, piano, and guitar. However, Ringo played the roles of drums, percussion, and vocals.
The band released one of the songs that I like up to date. It is known as “Yes It Is.” The writer of the song was Lennon. The music was composed on February 16, 1965, and released in the same year in April. The song has a delicate mixture of voices. The voices used in the song are in complete harmony with one another. The tone and the rhythm of the song make it remain one of the famous pop music on the continent. The three artists gave me a lesson on why when one becomes an artist, they have to be transparent and avoid proudly since the artists were fine to one another, which helped them emerge successfully in that particular music. The way the instruments are played is also in connection with one another. The arrangement of the stage is well organized. There is minimal movement on stage which led to no confusion during the performance. The music has inspirational lyrics since the music has enough content to inspire someone to succeed in life.
