Introduction
Are there evident scenarios to prove that technology has impacted this gradually growing and competitive world? Technology can be defined as using scientific knowledge to control the human environment through practicals. For many years now, technology has been adopted as a critical tool in solving human-related problems, discoveries, and widening human knowledge. Many people have tabled claims, both locally and internationally; moreover, through writing and verbal speeches, that technology has brought evil to society by breaking societal norms and doctrines and has negatively impacted human life. This paper aims to iron out the discoveries and prove that show the deep benefits that technology has brought to human life in all perspectives and disciplines as opposed to the detriments of the claims.
Technology in the healthcare
In their article, Alotaibi & Federico (2017) explains the establishment of Healthcare Information Technology (HIT), which was purposed to improve the patients’ health by improving the clinical outcomes, reducing the human errors, supporting the care coordination and retrieving of the data records over time in the health centers. Technology in healthcare has grown from mere support to becoming a critical tool in integrating medical technology. Healthcare centers have barcode medication administration systems that use the barcode technology to help the medical practitioners to identify the right patient to be offered the right medication and at the right time to avoid medical errors. Some of the soft wares are equipped with alert devices that give out the signal when the wrong medication is offered to a patient (Khammamia et al.,2015)
Medication may be stored in automated dispensing cabinets (ADC) with controlled dispensing and tracking at the point of treatment. First utilized in healthcare centers in the 1980s, automated dispensing cabinets now contain more advanced algorithms and computerized interfaces that can generate high-risk points in the delivery process. Grissinger (2012), in his article, argues that the usage of automated medication dispensing cabinets as a pharmaceutical stock control solution has proven beneficial, as it helps automate the prescription administration process by reducing the strain on the central dispensary and better tracking drug administration and patient bills.
Technology has led to the rise of telemedicine. Countless published studies have examined the impact of virtual visits in attendance to various diseases and have all demonstrated that telemedicine is as impactful as face-to-face care in terms of specific clinical outcomes, but there is weak evidence about patient risk control. In an e-consultation, the patient’s primary care physician and a specialist communicate over a reliable and comfortable electronic network. Using this technology, a specialist can advise the patient without referring them to another doctor. Remote diagnosis has been conducted, and evaluations made.
With the emergence of 3D printing technology, it is now feasible to create new bones and body parts inside the body. These prosthetic organs and bones may then be implanted into the patient’s body to substitute sick or troublesome parts. They also use this technology to comprehend what is occurring within patients’ bodies through the 3D models, allowing doctors to examine the problem in more detail and experiment with other remedies or procedures.
Technology in education
Technology has led to the discovery of artificial intelligence software that has assisted blind students in learning. The technology concerts the texts into the electronic braille and audios, making it easy for them to follow up on classes. This technology has also accommodated the deaf where there has been a display of the quick texts on the screens, keeping them in touch with the lessons. (West & Allen, 2018)
New sources rich in knowledge have been discovered with the emergence and development of the technology. E-books and audiobooks have relieved teachers from being the primary sources of learning information. Students can now freely access various academic materials on websites to supplement the basic concepts offered in the class setup. (Kumar et al., 2021)
The technological evolution has fueled institutional collaboration. Various universities throughout the globe have long recognized this. With the help of professors from across the world, several institutions have provided students with a wide range of educational opportunities. In certain areas of the globe, medical facilities have teamed up with educational institutions to install cameras that allow medical students to see procedures in class.
Today, distance learning and virtual learning are vital elements of the educational system.
Technology allows kids who attend school in various state regions to virtually “meet” in the lecture. Technology has linked a group of students with an instructor from another nation to assist students in studying foreign languages online (Raja and Nagasubramani, 2018). Moreover, with the emergence of online university courses, there is no longer a requirement to be physically present in the classroom. Students may now enroll in online degree programs offered by various overseas colleges.

In the modern world, customers need a high level of protection at a fair price. As a result, people expect to work with a technologically advanced firm. As a result, security organizations are scrambling to adopt new technologies. Customers want nothing less than complete openness and public responsibility. Every business must embrace technology to meet the client’s needs. As a result, today’s customers want to be more engaged in the security of their properties.
Increasingly, employers are becoming stricter in their selection procedures. Most companies now look for employees that are both digital and flexible. That’s because most businesses have gone from manual to increasing automation. Security personnel, for example, no longer have to personally search an area for any questionable activity but rather employ the new technology. Instead, live feeds from security cameras are sent to their mobile devices over Wi-Fi. E-applications are used for everything from applying for employment to reporting shifts and checking in and out of work.
Gunshot detection systems are one of the most rapidly growing uses of Artificial intelligence and machine learning. These devices can distinguish between barrel explosions and ripples because of advanced technologies (Stojanović et al., 2021). They can even recognize the kind of gun. Data science businesses and scientists are developing cutting-edge algorithms to pinpoint the precise location of gunshots, the amount of ammunition fired, and the total number of weapons on hand. Many law enforcement organizations are using artificial intelligence to fight crime. These systems can sift through large amounts of data utilizing predictive analytics to offer reliable crime predicting. The information gathered in this way may be used to allocate federal resources better.
When it comes to police operations and the restoration of stolen property, technology has become a game-changer. Face detection and smartphone applications have made it simpler for law enforcement to hunt down offenders.
Mig Police and local guards work together more effectively thanks to new technology so that any incident that warrants police notice may be dealt with as quickly as possible. Rations being a global phenomenon, individuals have relocated from one area to another as the globe has changed. Only a small portion of migration is characterized by people making their own decisions to relocate permanently. Routes may be dangerous, unavoidable causes, and people may be forced to relocate. Technology has helped in retrieving these people and monitoring the people’s movements to ensure that the world remains a base to define and defend human rights. The transatlantic slave trade has left a lasting legacy of socioeconomic patterns and ongoing suffering, making it the most lethal of all long-distance global migratory movements. Although the slave trade in Europe dates back millennia, this crime is a watershed moment in human history (Rentzsch, 2021).
