Introduction
In the current education landscape, e-learning has rapidly evolved, changing from traditional methods to more innovative approaches. One such approach that has facilitated this transformative shift is the inculcation of Artificial Intelligence(AI) into the olden education approaches. Due to its excellent pattern recognition and data processing, AI has created a more personalized and adaptive learning experience (Masiello et al., 2024). It has dramatically transformed how educators engage, respond and assess the various dynamic learner needs. Hence, this project is purposed to develop an AI-powered digital dashboard that plays a massive role in helping learners perform various academic tasks. The dashboard classifies various AI tools based on whether they are postgraduate or undergraduate courses or programs.
Additionally, it enables users to sort based on whether they need assistance with research, templates, reports, paraphrasing, or even other tasks. Therefore, this report documents the development, design, and evaluation of a digital dashboard powered by AI that is aimed at providing learners with various AI tools that will help them in their academics. The project aims to address the need to integrate AI into the academic system by conducting in-depth research using iterative design procedures and rigorous evaluation.

The objective of the Research
Project Development Methodology
Iterative and agile methodologies were incorporated to develop an AI-powered dashboard to assist learners in their academics. To start with, several AI models covering the various needs of students, such as……………., were chosen. Secondly, the visual layout of the dashboard was designed. This was designed in a way that was intuitive and clear, highlighting the main tasks without distraction. This ensured that students could quickly filter, explore, zoom in, and drill down the data.
Moreover, it was designed in a way that it could quickly adapt to the students’ preferences. By this moment, the AI-powered dashboard was ready for testing. Various methods were used to test it to ensure that the AI dashboard worked as expected, provided reliable and accurate information, and could meet students’ expectations and needs. Such methods included user feedback, usability testing, performance monitoring, and quality assurance. Moreover, there was a close relationship with various stakeholders, such as software developers, who helped refine features and requirements in the project development phase. Finally, web and desktop solutions deployed the dashboard to the students.
2.0 Literature Review
AI-powered Digital Dashboard- Definition
Artificial intelligence tools refer to the various platforms and software that use AI algorithms to analyze data, imitate human recognition well, and enhance and automate tasks. In education, they have helped usher efficiency, thus exceeding the traditional teaching approaches. On the other hand, a digital dashboard is a tool that helps users to analyze and monitor their most crucial data tools in real-time.
2.1 AI applicaions in Education
The use of AI in education is revolutionizing the traditional approaches to teaching and shaping the technological future of education; various AI solutions analyse enormous data sets through sophisticated algorithms. This has helped streamline the many learning tasks, thus making the learning process easier by providing many benefits to students, as outlined below.
2.11 Personalized Learning
Generally, students vary in the way they adapt to knowledge. Some of them are quick learners, while others are slow learners. In the traditional system, customised learning must be tailored to each unique student. Through AI, learning has been personalized to suit every student. This has helped back up how learners perceive and adapt to the learning process, thus minimizing the burden. Further, through customized programs, embedded games, and other features, the blend of education and AI focuses on every individual’s requirements, thus promoting effectiveness throughout the learning process.
2.1.2 automation of tasks
The use of AI in education has resulted in the automation of many tasks. This has helped tailor the whole education process. In this case, AI has helped maintain reports, make notes and presentations, organize research papers, and handle tasks. Automating everyday activities has made the learning environment more productive and knowledgeable.
2.1.3 24/7 Assistance.
AI in education has effectively informed and provided assistance throughout the day. It can deliver intelligent tutoring to students by monitoring how they consume content and catering to their desires accordingly. For students who opt for corporate training programs and distance learning courses, AI plays a crucial role in solving their enrollment queries and delivering instant solutions to their questions. Further, it helps them access the required study materials.
2.1.4 Customize Data–Based Feedback.
Regarding the design of the learning experience in a classroom, feedback serves a crucial role. Effective teaching involves the provision of continuous feedback from a trusted source. In education, AI determines and analyzes learner reports based on everyday data. This data-used feedback system helps remove biases in learning, provide student satisfaction, and spot the existing gaps. This further positively impacts learning and development as clear and unbiased data is provided, thus motivating them.
2.2 Analysis of existing AI-powered platforms catering to academic needs
Students have been using various AI tools to cater to their diverse needs while learning. This has helped them grasp complex concepts more efficiently and at their own pace. In this case, various tools such as tutoring, language learning, learning management systems and AI chatbots are used (Srivastava, 2024). Some of the tools which students have been using over the years include
2.2.1 Grammarly
This is a writing assistant tool powered by AI. It helps learners improve their writing styles by correcting and detecting spelling, grammar, style and punctuation errors in real time. This helps students write good essays, term papers, reports, and other academic tasks.
2.2.2 Tutor.ai
This is a tutoring-based platform that connects learners to the best-qualified tutors globally. Through this platform, students can receive personalized assistance, undertake virtual learning classes, and receive help with their challenging assignments or subjects (Srivastava, 2024). This offers valuable support and guidance to the students. Further, this plays a massive role in ensuring that students succeed and improve their understanding and learning of the topics that are deemed difficult for them.
2.2.3 Otter, ai
This is a handy transcription that helps convert spoken words into written ones. ext. It helps students transcribe interviews, lectures, and class discussions. Students can also search and review the already recorded audio files (Srivastava, 2024). This further makes it easier for students to reference and study the most critical information.
2,2,4 Mendeley
This is a tool used for managing references. It helps students annotate and organize articles and research papers. In addition, it assists students in organising and importing references efficiently, creating bibliographies and citations, and conducting peer collaborations while working on research projects. This further saves time as they can ensure proper citation and management of the research materials.
2.2.5 Copyscape
It is an AI-powered tool that helps detect plagiarism. The platform assists students in ensuring that they have correctly sourced and original work. Copyscape achieves this by scanning millions of documents across the web, trying to find duplicate documents. Later, the student will be provided with a report indicating any possible matches found. By using this platform, students are able to maintain academic integrity by avoiding possible cases of unintentional plagiarism.
2.2.6 Notion
It is an all-in-one workspace that enables learners to manage and organize their notes, tasks and projects. It combines task management, note and PR, and project planning into one tool. With this tool, students can take class notes, create their to-do lists, collaborate with fellow learners, and stay organized throughout their studies.
