The educator or caregiver guides the child’s ZPD play, connections, and experience. Instead of just teaching, we engage children’s interests and potential by modifying activities. Fostering children’s development includes customizing tasks to their ZPD and stimulating growth through experiences, connections, and play. It requires understanding each child’s features, appreciating meaningful interactions, and understanding play’s developmental value.
